Guns n' Roses

O Guns N Roses nasceu em Los Angeles, em meados dos anos 1980. A história começou a tomar forma quando dois amigos de infância de Indiana, Axl Rose e Izzy Stradlin, decidiram tentar a sorte na Califórnia. Eles fundaram a banda Hollywood Rose e, na cena musical californiana, acabaram se aproximando de músicos da banda L.A. Guns. Quando parte dos integrantes das duas bandas se uniu, o nome Guns N Roses surgiu como uma junção natural dos nomes. Nos primeiros meses, o baixista Ole Beich foi substituído por Duff McKagan, vindo da cena punk de Seattle; o guitarrista Tracii Guns deu lugar a Slash; e o baterista Rob Gardner saiu, abrindo espaço para Steven Adler, amigo de infância de Slash.
